I love spellbinder dies especially the new ones radiant rectangles. In the Spellbinders radiant rectangles pack there are no less than 7 dies to give so many different variations. Here’s how I made this wedding card using some of the radiant rectangle dies.
Spellbinders radiant rectangles
Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Victorian Velvet
Flower hand punches
Ranger Liquid Pearls in Petal Pink
5×7 card blank, computer, big shot, sticky pads, card and glue.
I cut a piece of card to fit the 5×7 card blank and then using the second die ( the one that doesnt cut the edge off and just pierces the card) I ran it through the big shot and then embossed it. With the die still in place I used the distressed ink to highlight the edges.
As the card blank can be seen through the die piercing I also added the ink to the card bank to the parts that can be seen. The pierced card was then stuck down using foam pads to keep it raised.
Next using two of the inner dies I cut, embossed and inked more card that I had printed a sentiment on using the computer.
When they are taken apart they look like this.
Lastly I punched two different style flowers that were shaped using a mouse mat and embossing tool. Some of the flowers were inked on the edges and ranger ink pearls added to the flower centres.
