The quick photo really doesn’t do this card justice. Its a large 8 inch square card to celebrate a couples upcoming wedding. Now that the card has been given to the happy couple I can share the card with you. The simple cream and white colours and simpleness of the card makes it, I think, more elegant.
- Crean and white card
- 8 inch card blank
- Sizzix framelits , oval with ornate edges
- Flower and leaf hand punch
- Cosmic shimmer glue in white
- Tim Holtz distress ink in anitique linen
- Glue, foam pads, bigshot, computer
I cut the cream card to the size and the white card slightly smaller and stuck both to the card blank.
I printed the wording onto white card using the computer and then using the oval die from the framelits cut out the wording and inked the edges. Using foam pads I stuck it to the card. The ornate frame was cut from the white card to, edges inked and also stuck down using foam pads.
The flowers were cut from cream and white oddments and shaped using a embossing tool and mouse mat. After sticking the flowers and leaves down I added cosmic shimmer in a swirly pattern and to the centre of the flowers. Lastly I added some bling with gems to the flower centres.
