Another Easter card , this time this one is a smaller card then I normally do at 12.5cm wide x 18cm high.
- Spellbinders Crosses Two
- Flower hand punch
- Leaf hand punch
- Cream card
- White card
- Cosmic shimmer peal in dark bronze
- Round dies ( xcut I think)
- Beatrix Potter embossing folder
- Happy Easter stamp ( free in a magazine I think)
- Corner punch
- Glue, big shot, inks, sticky pads, embossing tool, guillotine
How:I cut the cream card to fit just in side the edge if the white card so for my card it was 12cm x 17cm. The I embossed it with the Beatrice Potter embossing folder to give the embossed frame and finished off with the corner punches.
Using the cross die and cream card, I cut and embossed the largest cross ( lattice one), middle cross and smallest cross. Using the remaining dies I cut and embossed using the white card. To stick the crosses together I used foam pads and made sure they were cream, white, cream, white and cream. I placed the finished cross onto the card again using foam pads.
I stamped the sentiment and then cut two circles and stuck together using foam pads and placed at the bottom of the card.
Not one for waste I used the flower and leaf punches on all the spare bits of white and cream card. Using an old mouse mat and an embossing tool I shaped all the leaves and flowers.
The flowers and leaves were attached using glue and holding each one in place till not dry but not moving around.
Lastly I used cosmic shimmer in the flower centres, in the middle of the top cross and underneath the sentiment.
