I use to be a seamstress many years ago. Sewing all manor of things from curtains to wedding dresses. I could look at a dress and then whip it up in fabric a few hours later ….that was then. I think its been about 10 years since I have made anything on that scale but this morning I woke up, dragged out the old sewing machine and waited for inspiration. Whilst waiting for the impending inspriation to join my enthusiasm I popped into town to the local craft shop. ( mential note – if I win the lottery I am going to open a craft shop that stocks things other than wool) Couldnt find any material I liked so ended up buying a dotty duvet cover to make something with.
Promarker storage sprung into my head. I searched the internet for some ideas. Now granted this is the first prototype, but I think it may have promise.
Do also take into account that I couldnt find my pin box anywhere so I had to do the whole thing with out any pins.
Also the sewing machine was having a very pedantic day and I think it managed one row of stitching that was actually ok.
Lastly – you can tell how rusty I am at this sewing lark as I failed to remember to count how many pens I actually have and make a bag to fit them all in.
So one very exhausting day I managed to produce this. ….roll on the next one, it has to be better.
