Day 30: What does crafting mean to you OR Craft something that has an age theme
Before I start waffling on about what crafting means to me I first have to say a big Thank You. Thank you to all you lovely ladies who have taken part in the challenge. It has been so much fun reading everyone’s posts each day. I have learnt new things as well as seen a few things differently.
Soooo what does crafting mean to me? It means I get to play with copious amounts of glitter and glue and not thought of as an idiot. It means I get to play with colour, textures and all manor of things in the name of art. Its a happy place that makes me grin fro ear to ear and makes me smile inside. But I think the biggest thing is the social side. I may live in a rather remote art of the country and dont get to see many ( make that any) craft fairs or shoes or anything but I get to talk to lots of crafting people all over the world from my computer. At any time of the day I can turn the tv on, switch on the computer ( who am I kidding , its never off) or grab the phone and someone will be crafting and I can have a chat, join in or admire their crafting. I can teach someone something one minute then be learning something new myself the next . No two days are ever the same.
And of course without the wonderful world of crafting I wouldn’t have just completed 30 days of this challenge. Whilst I remember, the link ups are all set to close at midnight tonight so if you need to add any you have missed can you do so today please.
I am also ending on a double. A card with an age theme. The image is a KennyK digi image and coloured with promarkers and cosmic shimmer dots to add some dots at the edges.
