Day 1: What does crafting mean to you OR Craft something that has an age theme
Last year I said crafting meant I got to play with glitter and be in my happy place. It also enabled me to ‘meet’ lots of new friends through the power of the internet etc. So a year on does it still mean the same? It does but my crafting time has drastically reduced to the point I hardly craft anymore. It’s not how I want it but in the last year life has changed and there just isn’t enough hours in the day to fit crafting in as well. I now work in part time in the corner shop. This is great news as it gets me out but also they let me have a little basket to put my cards in and sell them. I am still self employed doing all the web stuff too and that been picking up. All this is good but does mean that poor old craft stuff is sitting in the craft cupboard being rather lonesome.
So when someone suggested doing the challenge again this year I have several personal hopes for it. I hope it gets me into the craft room again ( note to self must sort so I can actually get in there. ) I hope it brings my crafting mojo back as it really is dragging its boots. I also hope it maybe helps anyone else who’s crafting mojo has done a runner on them.
I think the answer to the question this year should be crafting means I have finally sorted out my time management and got into a better routine.
