My corner of the big wide world where I generally spend my life covered in glue and glitter. I have always been a arty farty type and could often be found drawing and doodling my teen age life away. An unenthusiastic art teacher ( and later and ex husband) quashed any drawing left inside me so I turned to sewing. I was trained by the most wonderful Mrs B who taught me only half what she knew and that was more than enough to set me up for the next ten years sewing. Soft furnishings including the smallest of doll house curtains to massive swags and tails for hotels. Later I moved to wedding dresses.
A short halt in my creative life as I had two children and a divorce has knocked my confidence a bit. But I am back. The drawing pencils are at the ready, the art brushes dusted off and the paper crafting has began. Not quiet the craft room I was once use to, instead a broom cupboard ( I kid you not) with my name on it.
I don’t know where this chapter of my craft life will take me. All I know is that I am going to enjoy every minute.
